Gloam · Android

Receipts that stay on your phone.

Photograph a receipt and Gloam reads it — the store, the total, the date — on your device. Nothing is sent away to be interpreted, and the photo never leaves your phone at all.

What it does

Snap it, and it's already sorted

On-device text recognition pulls out the details and suggests a category. You confirm with a tap, or fix it in a few seconds.

See where the money actually went

Spending by category, by store, by month, with the comparisons that make a number mean something.

Share a Pond with your partner

A shared ledger for a household. Shared receipts are end-to-end encrypted — our server stores ciphertext and never holds the key.

Why it's built this way

Most receipt apps upload your photo to a server to read it. Gloam doesn't, because it doesn't need to: the recognition runs on your phone. That single decision removes the entire question of who else has your receipts.

The full detail, including exactly what is stored and where, is in the privacy policy.
